There is something so satisfying about bridging the gap between feeling and expression, between the art world and the art classroom, between the now and the future. Bringing a passion for contemporary art into the classroom brings unique perspectives to the study of the fundamentals of art–bringing art to life in the eyes of young artists by showing living artists producing in their world today.

I've had the privilege of teaching in many different settings: public school, after-school art programs, private lessons, and private school. Each setting brings unique challenges and new color to my experiences as a person and a teacher.
